Professional Sales and Executive Assistant to CEO

Location: St Louis Park, MN (in-office)
 

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Professional Sales Individual/Executive Assistant to join our growing team. In this multifaceted role, you will provide executive-level support to the CEO and Design Director while taking an active role in sales growth and client engagement, particularly through trade shows and key market events. This role blends a hands-on sales focus with administrative excellence — ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, building relationships, and driving business opportunities. The successful candidate will be resourceful, detail-oriented, and energized in fast-paced, client-facing environments.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive strategic and administrative support to the CEO and Design Director, assisting with day-to-day tasks, project coordination, and operational follow-through.

  • Actively participate in sales efforts, with a particular emphasis on trade shows and customer engagement: ◦ Plan and coordinate trade show logistics, booth setup, and marketing materials.

  • Represent the company at trade shows — engaging attendees, presenting product lines, and selling directly to customers and partners.

  • Generate and follow up on leads, capture orders, and strengthen customer relationships.

  • Collaborate with leadership on sales planning and go-to-market initiatives.

  • Manage item setups and product data accuracy across internal systems and external partners.

  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring all sales and product development tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

  • Partner with internal teams and factories to ensure seamless coordination from product development through customer delivery.

  • Monitor and analyze trade show and sales results, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or project management; direct sales and trade show experience required.

  • Proven ability to engage customers, understand needs, and close sales in a professional setting.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable representing the company in a client-facing capacity.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint); CRM experience a plus.

  • Highly adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

  • Willingness to travel as needed for trade shows and sales events.
